![]() WEST MILTON - Mary Brumbaugh Spitler Wampler will turn 107 on March 14 and her sister, Treva Brumbaugh Frantz will turn 102 on March 13. There will be an open house for family and friends from 2-4 p.m. March 14 in the Brookhaven Lakeside conference room in Brookville. Mary was born in Darke County and grew up in the Englewood area. Her married years were spent living on the family farm west of Ludlow Falls, and later in West Milton. Her children are Dale and Esther Spitler of Troy; Lowell and Wilma Spitler of Pleasant Hill; Bill and Carol Brown, Wayne and Susie Spitler, Ed and Martha Kuhns all of Ludlow Falls; and stepson Kenneth and Dorothy Wampler of Brookville. Treva was born in Darke County and grew up in the Englewood area. Her married life was spent on their family farm north of Alcony. She later lived in New Carlisle, then Friendship Village. She now lives in Troy with her daughter Arleen Kuntz. Both ladies worked at NCR before being married. Treva later worked at the Miami County Courthouse.
