TIPP CITY - Tippecanoe Middle School eighth grade basketball team player Nathan Shirley, pictured above, was featured on Channel 1's Play of the Week. Channel 1 is a national school news show - and nobody but the nominator knew about it until the school saw Shirley on their television during study hall. The clip showed Shirley knocking the ball out of a Mad River player's hand just as he was about to make a basket. Watch it here: |
