Nearly 11,000 residents of Darke, Shelby and Miami counties will continue to be served by the Tri-County Board of Recovery & Mental Health Services, thanks to the passage of the 0.6 renewal levy. The levy provides about 25 percent of the board’s budget. “We are thrilled with the results and the continued support from our community,” said Amanda Brown, the director of community resource development. Executive Director Mark McDaniel, Executive Director, Tri-County Board of Recovery & Mental Health Services also is appreciative of the continued support of the tri-county community. He said, "passage of the levy renewal allows us to continue offering programs such as CIT, SafeHaven, and treatment and prevention services that support those in our community struggling with mental illness or addictions."
