  • WEST MILTON - An Awakening Revival at the Center Friends Church will include special speaker David Simpson and special music with Kimi Holsapple.

    The public is welcome for a time of worship and revival.

    Services are Sunday, May 15, from 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.; Monday, May 16, at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, May 17, at 7 p.m.; and Wednesday, May 18, at 7 p.m.

  • TIPP CITY - D.R.E.A.M. (Dedicated Rescue Efforts for Animals in Miami County) is working with the Greater Dayton Humane Society to bring you Canine Foster training, May 22, 7 - 9 p.m. to Tipp City Library (basement).

    This workshop is free but an advance reservation is required to ensure we have sufficient space and handouts.

    This is wonderful way to support the efforts of DREAM as we help save lives of “adoptable pets.” DREAM by pulling dogs from our county kill shelters. Fostering options can be overnight, 2 weeks, or 2 months…. time needed before they are adopted or placed into a rescue group.   • WEST MILTON - Think there’s not enough time during the Milton-Union Alumni Banquet on May 21 to spend with your friends and old acquaintances? Well come on down to the Fayevores Banquet Center, upstairs in the American Legiog building on St. Rt. 48 south of town. The time will be from around 9 p.m. until ?

    Beverages will be available for purchase. This will be a very relaxing atmosphere for having fun and catching up with old friends. We look forward to seeing you there.

  • TIPP CITY - The Tipp Roller Mill Theater presents Simple Harmony on Saturday, May 21st  at 7:30PM.

    The trio, comprised of Sidney residents Tod Huston, Sherri Heidemann and Mary Knapke,  will delight audiences with oldies music.  This year's show will feature oldies made favorite by the Mamas and Papas, Herman's Hermits, Johnny Cash, The Beach Boys, The Carpenters, Simon and Garfunkel, Kiki Dee and many others.
     
    Joining Simple Harmony will be their pianist Sharon Latimer from Minster, bass player Bill Barrett from Bellefontaine and Rick Lunz from Celina on drums.
