CLAYTON – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Health and Consumer Science Hospitality Services Program secured two new business affiliations for student worksites for the 2010-2011 school year. Hospitality Services is a job-training program that teaches students basic skills in the lodging, food, and health care industries, as well as life and employability skills. The junior students will begin their training at Holiday Inn, Englewood. Students will learn housekeeping and laundry skills. Senior students will be working with Aramark Catering at Sinclair Community College, allowing students to learn skills in the food industry and experience life on a college campus. The support of MVCTC students by Holiday Inn and Aramark Catering is appreciated. For more information about MVCTC and the opportunities for high school and adult learners visit www.mvctc.com. |
