Donna Jean (Hefelfinger) Cain, 81, of Laura, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born Feb. 14, 1929 in Phillipsburg. She was a 1947 graduate of Phillipsburg High School & worked at Klopfer Super Value in Pleasant Hill for 15 years. Donna was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Maude (Stutz) Hefelfinger, brothers, Elwood, Richard, Virgil, Charles, Cleo “Tete” and Kenny Hefelfinger and sister, Imo Denlinger. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joy D. Cain; son, Larry Cain of Troy; daughter, Sylvia Cain of Union; grandchildren, Aaron, Dana and Mariah Cain; and sister-in-law, Wilma Hefelfinger. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20 at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St., West Milton, with Pastor Kerry B. Baker officiating and burial to follow at Harris Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Dec. 19 from 2-4 p.m. at Hale-Sarver. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Upper Valley Medical Center for all their special care and concern during Donna’s stay. If so desired, contributions may be made to Center Friends Church. |
