TIPP CITY - David and Carol Sue (Weaver) Cook of Tipp City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Pastor Schillinger at the Tipp City Zion Lutheran Church married the couple on Feb. 20, 1960.
 
They are the parents of Dianne and Dan Lytle of Tipp City and Chad and Stephanie Cook of Union. They have four grandchildren Jessica Nickels, Matt Lytle, and Ethan and Samantha Cook. They also have four great-grandchildren Allison Kinzig, Abigail Nickels and Kaleb and Emma Lytle.
 
David Cook is an architect with Unibilt Custom Homes of Vandalia. They both enjoy various hobbies including genealogy and fishing, while Sue is a Dollologist, and plans to continue repairing dolls.
 
David served 12 years on Tipp City Council and eight years later Sue served for eight years. During each of their terms, they both served six years as mayor.
