COLUMBUS - Kara Lynn Hampton and David Barrett Brown of Columbus were married Aug. 29, 2009 in Skyview Wesleyan Church in Tipp City by Rev. John Hughes.
 
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Beth Hampton of Derry, N.H. The groom’s parents are Michael and Jann Brown of Union, Ohio.
 
Maid of honor was friend of the bride, Lindsay Rader of Vandalia. Bridal attendants were Caitlyn George of Weeki Wachee, Fla., Alana George and Amanda George, both of Piqua, all cousins of the bride.
 
Best man was Jared Brown of Vandalia, the groom’s brother. Groomsmen were friend Justin Robb of Dayton, cousins of the groom Marcus Frank and Ross Frank, both of Dayton.
 
Flower girl was cousin, Rachel George of Florida and ushers were brother of the bride, Matthew Hampton of New Hampshire and cousin David George of Florida.
 
The bride is currently a student at Ohio State University and is employed as a nutrition aide at the Ohio State University Hospitals in Columbus.
 
The groom graduated from Northmont High School and is employed at Speedway SuperAmerica in Columbus.
 
The couple celebrated after the ceremony at Allwood Audubon Center and took a wedding trip to Lexington, Va.
