TIPP CITY - David and Carol Sue (Weaver) Cook of Tipp City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Pastor Schillinger at the Tipp City Zion Lutheran Church married the couple on Feb. 20, 1960.
 
They are the parents of Dianne and Dan Lytle of Tipp City and Chad and Stephanie Cook of Union. They have four grandchildren Jessica Nickels, Matt Lytle, and Ethan and Samantha Cook. They also have four great-grandchildren Allison Kinzig, Abigail Nickels and Kaleb and Emma Lytle.
 
David Cook is an architect with Unibilt Custom Homes of Vandalia. They both enjoy various hobbies including genealogy and fishing, while Sue is a Dollologist, and plans to continue repairing dolls.
 
David served 12 years on Tipp City Council and eight years later Sue served for eight years. During each of their terms, they both served six years as mayor.

OWOSSO, Mich. - Mary (Scheaffer) Rohrer will celebrate her 90th birthday on Feb. 15. She was the only child of Edgar and Ethel Scheaffer, born in 1920 in her home on Frederick Road. She has lived in Vandalia and at her family homestead near West Milton for 40 years.

BEAVERCREEK - Carol Stacy of Beavercreek and Roger and Kim Stacy of Xenia announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer Stacy to Bryce Bradley of Nashville, Tenn. The groom-to-be’s parents are Charles and Monie Murray and James Bradley.
 
The future bride is a graduate of Milton-Union High School and Wittenberg University. The couple plans a May wedding in Nashville.

HUBER HEIGHTS - Brittney Blakely and Nick Bailey both of Huber Heights announce their engagement. The future bride is the daughter of John and Lori Blakely of Dublin. The groom-to-be’s parents are Ron and Debbie Bailey of Union.
 
The bride-to-be graduated from Hilliard Davidson High School in 2004 and Ohio Northern University in 2008. She is attending Wright State University and plans to graduate in 2011. She has a bachelor of science in business administration in marketing and management.

VANDALIA - Dottie (Rumer) Musselman of Vandalia will celebrate her 70th birthday Jan. 30. She was born in 1940 and married to the late Chuck Musselman.

Dottie has two sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Anne Vance and Jeff and Susan Vance all of Vandalia. She has three grandchildren.

The family will celebrate with her 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Tipp City Church of the Nazarene Family Center, 1221 W. Main St. They ask that friends and family along with children she has impacted in the last 47 years through childcareare invited to join them. Share stories and memories with Dottie.
